This phonetic information is stored and accessed to perform speech recognition only. Yes, vMail xpress works great in noisy environments. Simply hold the phone closer to your mouth (as in inches away) and speak normally (or even softly if you want to be discreet). Our advanced speech recognition software will amplify your voice and ignore the noise to do its best at selecting the correct contact.

vMail xpress uses 's Internet-based voice recognition web services. Voice recognition isn't 100% perfect, but our systems can learn from any errors they may make. Our proprietary "automated adaptive learning" technology is used for this purpose, and here's how it works:
   
  Indictate an Incorrect Contact
If vMail xpress chooses the wrong contact when interpretting what you said, simply tap the flag at the bottom of the screen to notify us of the error.
Review Process
Our technicians will analyze the incorrect response and take actions to correct the problem. You will be notified when this process has been completed by a small "message" icon which will appear on the screen.
Your Notification
The notification you receive will let you know what we did to fix the problem, and will include a link to the original audio recording that you flagged.
